There are others but Uber is one that shows the Government is in on the action to legalize and force change
The normal thing a government does is set rules and standards and then require some form of licensing
This has the affect of strengthening and protecting the service or facility so the public know what they are getting and are protected
With Uber -- it appeared on the scene and the government allowed it's entry with almost zero regulation or control
The consequence is the established system gets literally thrown out the window to the detriment of the people in a long term manner
