I think RRL had a major setback with the flooding event a couple of years back which I bought into soon after.. wish I'd held onto them till now anyways that's another story but have bought and sold a few times since also held SAR for a while but decide to let them go with a small profit
RRL did not expand that's the bottom line but their dividend payout ratio is higher than most and that's because they are so damned profitable on what they do mine
iv said it before but they are making more money than SAR however SAR is perceived to be the growing mid therefore gets the chocolates on MC
i guess NST and EVN paid less than RRL will have to in capex to add more than the equivalent of Mc phillamys in Oz/annum ..
everything would have to go perfectly right at MC Phillamys for RRL to make it pay but if gold keeps going it would push RRL towards 5B MC imho once into prod
