I can't help but feeling a little optimistic here (and when I say a little, it really is a little as TNG have disappointed so many times before).
I don't think PB is foolish enough to be making all these staff acquisitions if he feels that we're getting close.
Fully aware that if we don't get finance than all this means nothing but you don't recruit players if you don't intend to get on the pitch any time soon.
