It seems that your research has failed you and that you have invested in the wrong market sector entirely if that is your philosophy. Speculative miners are like a flip of the coin. You can win a lot quickly (but rarely) and you can lose the lot just as quickly. Many struggle on for years before a few blossom, but there are more failures than winners. A 50% loss is still money well spent if you back it on a winner. As I said, I'm prepared for the gamble and will accept either a loss or a big win with good grace and a calm spirit.
