Company announcement of 16 August 2019.So ... all the sentence above states is that the ASX has been advised that some documents are now in the possession of a courier and are headed to ... well the destination is not noted! I suppose it is fair and reasonable to assume these documents are being sent to the ASX. Perhaps not - who knows - it is not clear on my reading?
1. 'Original documents' on 9 August 2019 have now morphed into 'final documents' on 16 August 2019.
2. If, the original documents are required to be sighted by the ASX, there are other ways to certify document copies as being copies of the originals. Surely that is common knowledge / practice? I do wonder how BHP copes with sending documents from their international locations?
3. On 9 August 2019 the documents were "
being couriered for overseas" and on 16 August the 'documents' are now '
en route'
4. On the basis of the documents being, "
couriered from overseas" on 9 August - an anticipated relisting date of 16 August was stated by CGB. That didn't happen - clearly!
5. On the basis of the documents being, "
en route via courier from overseas", CGB anticipates a relisting date of, "
mid to late nextweek." Will that happen?
I think it would be interesting to ponder what gives CGB the confidence to anticipate anything with respect to relisting mid to next week given what has transpired so far?
Has anyone bothered to ask why there is such a delay for the 'couriers' to deliver these 'documents'?
I am not sure what is worse - the fact that the clear misapprehension of the delivery and receipt of these documents can be so misread or, the fact that so many on here still defend these changes to the relisting date.
