I would have proffered free shares if hit a price target say $3.00 thats a real incentive.

From my days in the corporate world if it looked like after half way through the year you wont make your bonus you tend to pull back to make the following year easier. I think thats just human nature. There is cat in hells chance at this stage them hitting $2.78 (hope springs eternal!).

To pick up the options they would have need to leverage, compared to us mere mortals they are wealthy but with their salaries not sure they would have that much spare cash floating around.

They are already on a very good wicket salary wise, infact if the company drops out of the ASX200 in Sept review they are probably top heavy.
