Yes advancements Obviously everyone knows its becoming stricter. And it plays into some market forces best interests that clarity does not exist, otherwise pricing changes and also outlook of future SC supply. (Vertical integration will also hide costs of processing undoubtedly, unless you’ve a very keen eye?

Good chance <0.5% for highest quality Battery Grade going forward. However 0.8% is quite demanding for new incumbents.

Also important to note <6mm crush size and variance for CG and moisture content also important_ too dry or too wet an issue.

I haven’t seen those statistics in quarterly updates but Talisons marks it all out.

    Tianqi......

Hard to get information. Mostly focus is on TG as that’s the most demanding. CG likely a walk in the park compared to new incumbents.

Behre Dobear In 2018 did another report this time for Tianqi IPO, not much changes, possibly SC% bagged shifts as the pit zoning in TGPs and CPGs shifts as a matter of course.

However Albermale documents TG data quite recently all except SC6 curiously.

The parameters have moved little and anyone thinking “she’ll be right mate” iron oxide over 0.8% is just relying on those who have a vested interest to obscure specifications. Ganfeng released any specifications? There’s a good rash PLS could only show a little certificate from General Lithium when maiden commissioning commenced in 2018.

I can see for ceramic grade 1tonne bags as well as 25kg bags.

crush size is almost dust, at 0.5mm. And variance is much more quantified though 0.5mm fines is indicated at 100%

0.8% for iron in SC6 —not much changed for Tianqi between 2009, and 2018
