if you have no revenue with the exception of your R&D tax credit, your always reliant on funding. The auditors have no idea about funding or the success of any capital raising. All they can really say is the runway ends at point x without any funding.
This is the biotech world. Look at your assets, if you have a quality asset with potential you will always get funding.
