My prediction is post-announcement day close 17.5c with more to follow.

CTP's hope is for Range's value to be capitalised. If it puts forward a resource, an engineering plan and (short) timeline to production higher is possible.

Remember, IPL is funding $25m toward Range and the Qld government handed over a juicy permit area bisected by a gas pipe. Both want gas production - now. This project is a gift to CTP.

Meanwhile, Mereenie, PV and Dingo are beating down those seriously large liabilities, though it must be acknowledged CTP is still not filling NGP as it hoped.

Did I hear someone say Helium?? There may be a Dukas update too, announcing a path round the over-pressure difficulties. Excessive gas pressure is a problem we like.

If Dukas is the multi-tcf property STO thinks it is, the feds will build on existing studies to fast-track the Alice-Moomba gas pipe with NAIF funding. They are desperate to get more gas into the E Australian grid before what remains of our energy intensive manufacturing is destroyed.
