I don't believe that it is useful for us long term SH to make assumptions when we don't know all the facts.
Without knowing what is going on, in my opinion, this was a strategic decision and smells a lot to me like a maneuver to either counter or prepare for a takeover or buy out. Don't forget, CTP management (and no doubt board as well), would ideally love to tell it's shareholders the truth and exactly what is going on, however, need to keep their cards close to their chest, to avoid giving away the game plan to the parties interested in taking us down.
Let's put things in perspective and think rationally for a minute. Range has exceeded expectations. Dukas announcements to date have been positive and even the experts on this forum say that, to date, Dukas has surprised and is going to plan. If you were a large conglomerate, would you be looking at an undervalued CTP as a potential target for TO? Of course you would.
This is an open forum and everyone is entitled to their opinions, however, I don't think that going of half cocked is serving anyone.
I always ask myself is this an assumption or a fact. That single question normally reshapes my perspective.
