It may have escaped your notice but there is a LNP government in NSW which is working through the process of decriminalising abortion. Or are you so far to the right that a LNP government is left wing?
It was George Pell who stated: ”abortion is a worse moral scandal than priests sexually abusing young people”. Obviously if you are a paedophile, then that is what you would believe. Also, less abortions means more victims for the clergy to abuse.
