But that is where I first encountered this attitude to Australian companies - good only for gutting with short term trading.

Arguably if CVI had different significant shareholders then things might have turned out differently, and the SP might have been much higher.

There are over 2200 companies on the exchange, and probably one third of those are good only for gutting.

I find it distressing that some traders cant tell the difference between a stock that is good only for trading, and one that can be grown into a company.

But it's a free country - out with your knives and gut away!
