Laz, Your reading is correct. $23M gets 60% of Area A. $15M gets 50% of either B or C. The rest of your analysis is great, as always.
One key point to emphasise. The oil is there (BP found it in 1991) 250ft interval. The only thing not known is whether it will flow, that is the current objective for the well. It is encouraging that it is a "light" oil. Testing stacked targets is a bonus.
For those that said the LSE hammered the price. Look carefully. 42M traded. high of 1.2 GBP, low of 0.96, presumably dropped as people rushed to sell into it.
