I think those numbers are a coincidence @jimmityg
Few reasons to support my theory:
1) Rarely 3Bs reflect into your trading account's "available" shares immediately. Usually it's an overnight process in my experience.
2) The sells between 3.52 and 3.53 were separate orders (based on the timing per seconds). I could see the orders as 3.3mil @3:52.13, 1.7mil @3:52.50, 2.1mil @3:53.03 , 1 mil @3:53.08, 0.95mil @3:53.12 and lastly the big 6mil@3:53.20, where there is still a balance of couple of hundred k from that order sitting at the top of the offer queue at 1c.
3) I have noticed that last mentioned 6mil order sitting at the end of 1.1c offer queue from mid arvo, so someone noticed the depleting 1c bids, caved in and reduced their price from 1.1c to 1c. Most likely majority of the other orders mentioned above followed the same path, triggered by the first couple of orders. Hence you can see the offer queue @1.1c gone from 42mil to 26mil
4) I reckon some or all of the 10mil released in today's 3B is HB's, so I believe that is still in safe hands.
The sell off might've been triggered by the 3B though, where people were expecting more to be converted or because of FOMO of 1c bids depleting or lack of momentum since last Friday or a combination of these factors.
It's disappointing, but not is all gloomy "yet" in my opinion. There were two 5mil and one 10mil orders in the bids @1c in the last two days, so these are patient buyers waiting for the dump to happen, certainly knowing the current options situation, and managed to get their fill.
Overall, approx 125mil were bought @ 1c-1.1c since last Friday and at least 250mil @0.9c - 1c in the past few months. I believe many of these buyers are not for just one pip (otherwise that 45mil @1c bid stack wouldn't have lasted all this week), so I'm expecting some support at 0.9c, unless management comes with some spectacularly mind boggling negative or unexpected news.
All IMO mate. Once the options saga is over, where the price heads really depends on the cash position and next step from management to address that. Chart looks like it is still in uptrend overall (I'm no expert btw), so need some good FA from now on to back that TA.
