It's too early to start thinking about the total size of the resource, particularly as we don't know the fine gold, but I like the sound of "fine gold haloes"
Anyway things are staking up well.
Shallow overburden
Easy recovery ? mostly mechanical
Huge area
Many unknowns still
-sampling errors? Unlike classical placer gold, this conglomerate gold looks as if it is distributed throughout the gravel as it is mixed in with transported Mt Roe basalt gravel
-thickness of gravelsrobably some cherry picking, but if the ground radar is proven accurate, then a thickness map should be able to be produced So surface area x thickness x grams /m3 starts to give some largish numbers!
Come you clever clogs out there......Anyone one prepared to put a figure on it?
