Always a good idea to write off intangibles in a loss year. I expected the hit to goodwill, which cannot be amortised, rather than ERP software, which can.
At 28c, MXI is trading at long term lows trend line and will likely hover at this level until it returns to profits, as it did Aug 1999-Feb 2002. Maybe it will go lower. Who can say? This is a substantial discount to book value.
Edit: Mr Market just blew this theory up -3.5c to 25c
