I don't see it as a matter of winning or losing a trade war. It's a much more fundamental crisis of global dominance, and it's going to get a lot more ugly, it seems like.
So many companies in this earnings reporting season have stated that they expect the US-China dispute to have a potential negative impact on their operations over the next year. The market always has an exagerrated response to bad news, true, but I think the fear isn't fully unjustified.
I still think that Zip has a lot of potential to do really well, but I also think the macro conditions will keep the share price suppressed for the time being. Seems like we can agree on that.
