The merger is very good news for WBC it will become a super bank, Gail Kelly ran SGB very successfully she knows every detail of their procedures.
Combining the two has very big cost savings, a good night in the US WBC goes up $1 doller, a good month WBC will be up over $30 dollers.
By the end of the year with the change of govenment in the US confidence will return to the market.
Markets go down, and markets go up.
