@readyaimfire earlier this year in February I built a position in NXM and it was ripe for a run with an upcoming drill program, then they did a small placement at a discount ,fair enough and then they offered a spp to existing shareholders which dragged on and on and then they announced only 49% of holders had taken part so there was a shortfall hanging over the drill program.Despite good drill results the sp never moved much above the spp price as why would anyone buy on market when they knew people could be buying spp shares at 5.7c.It totally killed the momentum the company had at 7c before the placement and spp. That was enough for me to acquire a strong dislike for spp's .They take too long and kill momentum in my opinion.My main interest is in seeing a company share price going up not participating in a spp Anyway I don't think this is the appropriate place to discuss spp's better on XSO or another thread like stt
