On the contrary ... imo CXY is very well placed to leverage into coal to liquids on the back of (or prior to) success at Kingaroy ... by reasonable account, most likely the first commercial operating ucg project in Australia.

You cant do liquids, fertilisers or electricity via ucg unless you have a productive and stable syngas field ... Walker/Ergo have significant runs on the board in this fundamental area ... and Eskom/Ergo are scaling up syngas production at present in South Africa.

Obviously, the AFR, or at least the writer of that article may not be as astute as I had initially thought 8)).
