In case it's not apparent, it's been ~14mths since Origin was appointed. I would expect they required an exclusive relationship so the company has likely only just been freed from a 12mth contract to explore other consultants. Their new choice doesn't fill me with great confidence but I'm also not convinced this is a competency issue anymore rather than just an industry one.
It's heartening to hear they've reduced costs by 50%. Should have been done 12mths ago but if it gets us a few more quarters it's better than nothing.
Firmly in the boat now though that no matter who's in charge, BAT, as we hold it, is done without an industry turnaround within the next 12mths.
