Job Summary
OBJ is launching an exciting new Consumer Division and creating a new global brand from the ground up, backed by R&D centers and industry experts spanning Australia and Switzerland. This is the perfect opportunity to get involved at the start of a brand’s journey and really shape a creative output that will be seen in leading retailers across the US, EMEA and Asia. Our new office has recently been established in Zagreb which will be at the center of our Global communications campaigns, and we’re looking for exceptional candidates to join our journey.
As our new Creative Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating and maintaining brand image across product and packaging design, website layout, advertising and communications assets, presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. You will be passionate about sleek, modern design and the principles of maintaining a strong brand image. This is a highly visible and exciting role working directly with our CEO, Product Marketing Manager and Global Marketing Lead. You will also be willing to travel to China and assist in product design projects as and when needed.
Core Responsibilities
- Help define the new brand and new product launches across all brand assets, including identity guidelines, templates, online and offline properties alongside wider product and communications materials. Establish visual tone, character, and messages that will effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfil the project objectives;
- Work with various teams (design, content, product development, sales) to ensure the brand identity is upheld across the board;
- Oversee the commissioning and management of outside illustrators, photographers, comp artists, and video producers. Proactively defines and assembles all necessary content assets with the creative staff;
- Be a key creative voice in terms of brand development and campaigns that move the needle.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of design and marketing experience – agency, or in-house;
- Excellent written and verbal communications;
- Knowledge of marketing, communication and branding principles;
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines;
- Should work with pro-active nature and be able to use own initiative;
- Creative and innovative mind;
- Exceptionally organized.
