BB,
You make the observation
"It seems childish even....maybe its political."
One way or another Anna Bligh and Helen Clark should be watching this case because the financial welfare of superannuation funds and the Aust/NZ interactions are of utmost importance..Dont you think?
I seem to remember some sort of alliance between our countries that governs such business arrangements..
I remember the day that LLA was relisting after the Arctic proposal and although NZ NZX anns included the ASX relist info ...ASX didnt mention the NZX relisting details...
The result of the duel relisting was OCV CEO Chapman involvement and NZ never relisting due to a problem with the NZ register....later we found OCVs problems with its own register when ANZ belatedly ann substantial holdings seized from OPES...and Prime Capital.
No doubt Anna Bligh and Helen Clark are aware of the huge problems faced by super funds and are watching via the government agencies.
I think everyone is interested in the common need to cope with the markets' destruction and protect the innocent as much as possible.
A court proceeding maybe the only way to progress or involve ASIC ?? from here?
I certainly dont know.
