speaking for myself as a SMSF I do not have the experience to pick the highs and lows and would rather research my chosen stock and put my money in and wait but obviously keep an eye on it. I think rodeo sums it up beautifully that trading vs LT holding dose not always return better results although in a SMSF the tax rate is a lot less.
Max I do have a free carry point of selling a small percentage but unfortunately this time did not quite get there. When it does I will be considering my options again. Everyone has there own strategy. Given I have only been holding for less than 12 months I don’t mind waiting a bit longer.
