Mate of mine took me for a spin in his Tesla and I got no problems with the performance.
Almost as fast as my R1.
Performance is the easy thing to wring out of the electric vehicle.
Running all the ancillary like air & power steering/ brake / stereo/ lights, all drain from the range & not all of us have the luxury of time when on the road. You need to get from point a to b NOW.
I take on that tesla for a drag race Sunny coast to Sydney any day of the week & he can use his superior performance as often as he wants. Even better in Summer?
Get the battery sorted (not by making it bigger). You wont then have the need to worry about a million or two charge points either.
