The Market cap is just the total number of shares x the share price. So BCN- 2.86 billion shares x $0.046 = $125.77 market cap. It's a $7.61 billion company because that's it's market cap. It's share price is $11.81 because it has 639.59 million shares. Because it has less shares, it takes less of an increase in market cap (or company value) to increase the share price than BCN, because BCN has more shares. The market cap and number of shares are what tell you the sp.
