Redpine's RS9110 Lite-Fi(TM) device enables a new generation of Wi-Fi based VoIP phones that will make available the advantages of 802.11n connectivity at a cost similar to or less than those that use conventional 802.11b/g connectivity.

Voice over Wi-Fi is becoming increasingly popular as greater numbers of mobile phones are getting equipped with Wi-Fi capability. Common Wi-Fi environments, however, have a mix of voice and data traffic, where the available bandwidth needs to be shared.
