Unfortunately, the headline numbers have mislead as to the true financial picture. People have seen the -$43mn net loss and averaged that out as normal operating loss... Despite the fact it included the costs of purchasing TWO profitable businesses. And this misunderstanding has lead people to believe a cap raising is needed urgently. And now this misunderstanding has shaped perception and sentiment - and LVT will find itself in a position where it’s treading water from a share price perspective the market gets its raise.
