sure, for a lot of people the price of oil is neither here nore there - they might complain about how expensive it might be, but that will not stop the use. watso rides the bike, but there are very few bikes at the shopping centres. when one has a look in the foodhall, and people happily pay $10 for a roll, with a bit of chicken, or one sees small packets of rabbit food at woolworths for a few dollars, then by comparison oil (petrol is cheap).
nevertheless, it does see, that overall, people are marginally driving their cars a little less
