I’ve been thinking
Would it be too late for a takeover now?. Takeovers normally take months to finalise. Therefore if there is a takeover now, FAR will still be an entity while it goes through due process and recommendations to shareholders, arrange an EGM, etc.
During this process December rolls around and then PE is announced. Any takeover offer then becomes irrelevant if FAR wins PE. Therefore, why lob a takeover offer now? Might as well wait and see?
