We knew we have a donkey in the driver seat but we did not know he is a bumbling fool as well.
When the likes of a GSK giant offers to settle for $110M it reflects how strong the BTA case is. A bully like GSK do not give money away.
And to settle for $20M without legal cost smells sinister and hide many agendas. BTA is capitalised at less than $100M and if they had just played tough, I am sure GSK would have stumped out many times more than $20M!! Deep in GSK's mind would be even that even if in the unlikely event GSK wins, they will not be able to recover the more than hundreds of millions they will spend on legal costs.
Of course Lani has great propspects BUT it is years and years away. And when you have bumbling fools rewarded with share options, the $50M cash will not last too long in grubby hands.
