the problem is tin is going UP.
massive shortfalls currently and in the future - even when renison comes online.
illegal indonesian miners have mostly depleted the easy stuff.
switch from lead to tin in solders.
supply is no where near ready.
even a new renison in terms of plant and equipment has a 2.5 year lead time if it were to be emulated somewhere else in the world!
this is such a no-brainer!!
