yes CEO of NAB gave me no confidence when interviewed. He kept reinterating that more blues/volitility was to follow No wonder we saw such a huge sell off in NAB.
Having looked at NAB's provisions for these CDO's when picked up by NAB, these CDO's has AAA status.I can only see the value of these CDO's depreciate even more so in the future, as credit woes gain momentum and bond insurers come under further pressure and these CDO's status is downgraded. The housing crisis has now moved to prime rate mortgages.It wouldn't suprise some of us to see all the banks increase provisions to accomodate any writedowns in the coming months as we don't know true value of these CDO's
