Well crap. I was doing some trading yesterday with volumes I couldn't pay for. Just had to sell a portion (< half luckily) of my long parcel to pay for the loss from the tree shake. Not too happy with myself right now, I was up a couple hundred $ for the day but got greedy and went for more just before the drop. As they say, I was swimming naked and the tide went out.
I would have left the sell order in market for most of today, but someone mentioned possible trading halt in here last night, which had me super nervous as to the mess I'd be in if that happened, so emotionally I had to close out the position asap to get my mind back in good working order.
Well played traders, well played.
Let this be an admission of stupidity on permanent record for others to learn from. Never trade with volumes you can't back with cash at settlement.
My sentiment is still buy, but only with that you can afford to pay for.
