Keep in mind it's always easier to make decisions in hindsight. Being a shareholder I would have loved to see a $130m payout instead of $20m but the reality is that there must have been good reason to take the settlement now. I suspect Relenza sales will be ramped up given tamiflu resistence... another 203 years in the courts would have prevented GSK from siezing the recent developments and increasing market share.
I'm looking to the future, the rejected $130m offer is a sting but hey I bought some share called One Tel...
HRV, LANI and strong on my mind, and then ramping of Relenza marketing to governments and the rest of their pipeline. Biota is a small fry stock... a positive development could add multiples over night (even in this crappy market).
