Regardless of what "the market" does, there will still be sectors adn companies that complete their projects. It is pretty hard for these companies to remain at a $10M market cap if they start earning cash and get re-valued.

So if you are investing or trading in "the market" all this makes a huge difference. If you are searching for the right sector, this is important but may not make a huge difference.

I have only seen 18 months of markets however so I am glad to be proven wrong by the pros.
