Yep it was but it still allowed purchases 5% either side of VWAP. The last notice was 24 Dec but FMG traded mainly in the 410s from then until 4 Jan until it broke out into the 450-460s.
So you are spot on about the weeks leading into the disaster. It may have been a bit difficult. I suppose it’s always easier analysing in hindsight. They still took 1% off the table which was a good effort.
