One other point in the Newsletter was that they have decided to not continue monitoring the patients. I can understand they need to release patients to have other procedures such as DBS if they want to but surely you would continue to monitor as many patients for as long as possible. Once they have another treatment then ok they drop off the list. Seems very negative to not continue to monitor albeit I appreciate there would be an associated cost - decrease frequency if necessary.
