IMHO,
Forget 30 year Field life.
I would think 10 year's will be about it.
EV's will guarantee it.
Deep Water oil will be left stranded,just like that.
Remember the shale producer's?
When less oil is needed,the big low cost producer's will crash the price, just to maintain market share.
SNE and other deep water high cost fields will be left stranded,with high removal & reinstatement costs to boot.
This investment is a lemon that will turn sour very quickly,why do you think COP walked and Cairn want to sell down.
Very, Very high, long term risk.
