You got it Gizard - I had this same discussion only last week.

OCP is a super power when it comes to global Phosphate supplies and their reign isn't under threat... The rumour is that they want to squeeze out all new green-field start ups. I doubt that... I'm sure they would much prefer the price to stay around 150-250, which is globally sustainable and they get higher profits pa 30MT at these prices then 45MT at $60... OPEX is $30 p/ton.

Its simple economics and Morocco isn't silly... They will milk this for all its worth and when they start to see competitors damaging their revenue they will simply under-cut because they can.

This "We will drive price down" is smoke and mirrors... Similar to Iran firing missiles into the sky.
