So... as the litigation process is now formally filed and ongoing, does Wiechert have any other alternatives than to employ local lawyers? If so, is it correct to assume they will either 1) defend their case, 2) not defend, in which case NSW Supreme Court makes the decision based on RFM's demands or 3) settle?
Bonitas may have been gearing to fight this in their home jurisdiction but hauling them to court in Australia can be a nasty nuisance for them. Their bravado was regarding a potential defamation lawsuit in Texas, but this is not the same thing. We're now discussing breaches of Australian Corporations Act.
