I've been reading up on Rosacea and interestingly, its root cause is unknown. Symptoms include pus filled bumps and redness/inflammation, very similar to acne with some variation in how the inflammation occurs. If the acne Ph2 trial proves successful, it seems highly likely the BOT CBD drug platform would also address Rosacea symptoms basis anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial effects. Have actually come across a range of different skin conditions with similar symptoms and while the number of people effected by each condition is smaller relative to the markets BOT is currently targeting, collectively, they would account for a significant number of sufferers.

As a side thought, it'd be interesting to know what effect CBD might have on skin cancer. Not sure how or if the established MOA might work on skin cancer cells but given the anecdotal evidence that CBD has seen positive results when used by sufferers of other forms of cancer, it begs the question whether similar results might be seen when used topically on skin cancer. Not even sure if there’s a need for alternative treatment of skin cancer outside of just having them burnt off or removed by surgery, just spit balling really. Have a good weekend.
