I am always amused and amazed at the lack of depth in that sort of thinking

even if one agree with things like 'the boat invasion' --

ok - lets accept that for a nano second for the sake of argument that there was such a reality of a 'boat invasion'



why did we have 'the boat invasion?'

because there were refugees

why were there refugees?

because Western nations (America - with mates like Australia) - went to the middle east and killed people - who were doing nothing wrong at all

just like boat refugees from Vietnam years back - WHY were they jumping on boats to head to Oz?

AGAIN - because good old USA created another war out of thin air for no good reason bar it's own stupidity - AND, Australia went there to kill our neighbours as well

so - none of that's to do with Swannie types or 'invasion by boats' ---

it's to do with why there were refugees in the first place -

and, it comes down to boneheads like John Howard who went off instantly to be one of the 'coalition of the willing' - to a wrong war, wrong time, wrong place

now - the idiot Morrison has sent warships to the ME - to appease the great orange man ---------- who has now sacked the other idiot who he employed who wanted to stir up Iran -

end result -- we are in warships advertising our presence - stirring up trouble - making a whole new batch of refugees - who will - at some stage - end up in planes and boats trying to escape war

and, you want to blame Labor for this??????????????
