Ignoring today’s departures, since week beginning Tues Sep 10 (as last data revealed was for w/e Mon 9 sep), departures from Pilbara ports (Dampier and PH) seem to have declined further.
For w/e 9 sep, they fell to 2 month low and a total of 15.1mt were shipped from Australia, down 1.6mt for week.
There are maintenance programs occurring including Rio rail heavy maintenance in Oct.
I’d be surprised to see an increase in shipments from Oz when data is released tomorrow.
We shall see..
