How come when the shares in Centro were being traded in the low 20's, when someone made the comment of "why would anyone buy the assets when you can buy the company for X" was that shot down?

What has changed really since then? The extension at that time had been given. So really all that has happened is that they have sold some of the US assets.

So doesn't the reasoning that applied a couple of weeks ago apply today? If you buy the company, you're buying the debts as well and all that associated risk?

Here is hoping there is a "bigger play" though
