Each year, your country spend more on defence than the next 8 countries combined. You have more military bases around the world, than all your foes combined?!? Last count (according to Pentagon) was over 500 plus military bases around the world.

That money could have been used to invest in Education and Infrastructures to make you competitive.

Instead, it has been wasted more and more on wars, war machines and military bases around the world.

Its about time you realize you can not win asymmetric wars like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Libya, without bleeding your treasury dry.

btw, have any of you guys been to Libya recently?

The country has regressed so much now, that some people in that country are being sold as slaves - and to think, it wasn't so long ago, Libyan had free education, free medical and discounted petrol.

Now, its a hellhole where ISIS and AQ runs amok. That war will probably suck up another Trillion dollars to fix.
