I’m loading up the base of the hole with a contact adhesive (already had it didn’t buy it specifically), only put in enough to cover bottom of hole by approximately 2-3mm. Will add a few bits of Cu off cuts and possibly SS bolts/nuts that are buggered in on the next pour of adhesive to reduce volume of adhesive needed. Was thinking of fashioning 2 plates, top of foot and bottom of folly so I can spread the load a bit. What do ya reckon?
