    GMV notices SH's are panicking...
    Doesn't have good news yet to stop the bleed...
    Conveniently receives a ASX query...
    GMV requests a trading halt (bleed stopped)
    GMV decides it is best to stop the bleeding indefinitely until they have good news to release so they decide not to answer the query knowing that they will be placed in an indefinite suspension thus allowing them to have time to bring some good news home...

    Sounds to me like they have played it pretty well.
