Thank you JB45. Your explanation helps to clarify the situation for me. So BHP have returned surplus capital to shareholders, are selling off their coal assets due the environmentalists pressure, having their partners selling off their share of Bass Strait petroleum interests and government investing in lithium processing. All this whilst the ownership of the lithium is being sold off overseas. Interesting.
