The "material transaction" might just explain the reason for the recent enthusiasm of a few large buyers.
Will it be gold, or maybe nickel? My pick is gold, maybe close to it's current holdings in WA?
While the cobalt is locked up til the price moves back to making Dobsina economic, there is plenty of cash to develop another project. And a certain person seems pretty adroit at finding good projects.
